Jakarta Clothing 2011 has officially opened. it's so good to see a lot of local brands in one place. disini emang harganya super jauh turun, dari macbeth yang biasanya 600k or more, turun jadi cuma 300k & you only need to pay 15k to get in! happy-weekend

Entering the second day, Jakcloth 2011 event held at the East Parking Senayan going crazier than before. in the afternoon, queues at the ticket window increases.  While in some corner of the area of ​​various competitions held events typical of young people. BMX,Skate board, shuffle dance and many more.  Exactly at 20.00, while the rain was still falling quite heavily, Parkway Drive-band fromAustralia, kicked off the stage Macbeth. thousands of fans who had waited since early evening went really crazy.

you should've check on oneway, smith, kidnapped alley and macbeth booth since they gave you big big discount. it's a good event after all, since i bought 5 items for my self lol. see you again. cheers!

i'm so in love with their works. sophisticated & edgy, i got two illustrator of the day!! 

1. Ëlodie

Ëlodie is a French illustrator based in Paris specializing in fashion illustration and portraiture. With a fascination for 60’s graphic design and fashion, she plays with different kinds of traditional and hand drawn techniques such as pigment liner, watercolor and pencil. Then, they are digitally enriched with typography and other graphical elements to produce a vintage style. 

2. Kelly Smith

Kelly Smith is a freelance illustrator working out out of a home studio in Tasmania, Australia. She has exhibited nationwide and her work has appeared in a number of Australian and International publications including : Instyle, Flare, Vogue Australia, Russh, Cleo, Shop 'Til You Drop, Fallen, Cream, and Yen. her official website

Peplum is back!

Puffy effects all over the catwalk, peplum is back in Spring/Summer 2012 collection! Thanks to Jason Wu, Nina Ricci, dan beberapa desainer lainnya, seperti Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, dan Loewe yang kembali mempopulerkan peplum untuk koleksi musim depan. Cool effect yang diberikan oleh cutting jenis ini membuat pemakainya mendapatkan siluet tubuh yang slim dan sophisticated. Peplum pun hadir tidak hanya dalam bentuk dress saja, tapi juga pada rok dan tops. Stunning!

The peplum was present again, pretty floral prints with a retro feeling to them, mid-length skirts (one of the biggest trends of the season), soft ruffles and a lot of leg!

Abbey For Balmain

woohoo! balmain just made a Contract with Abbey Lee Kershaw. it's Abbey and the "Our Mountain" for Balmain's spring/summer 2012 collection. and they got Inez and Vinoodh as the photographer. the jingle for this ads is "devil's banquet' from the Our Mountain. i'm so excited to see Pierre Balmain's new commercial ads.i'll bet they look super hip and cool, Hands down for them!
